Can TS'S go backwards?

They can go almost anywhere, N S E W, and even loop d loops, just depends on steering, and of course, I have no knowledge of such.

I think Larry went the wrong way trough the carribean it was in the late 1990's i think it retired though so it wont be hard to find.

The one they have been showing (their promo, have no clue what storm or year) on TWC is going east over Cuba

Regardless... what fact789 was referring to was his link. The NHC graphic has Kristy going at -99 mph, which is obviously an error.

Wasn't there an "H" named storm that went loop-d-loop over the bahamas in the late 90's or maybe the early 2000's ?

Oh man, fun memories. Tracking Kyle was the most fun I've ever had tracking a storm. What a month. He denied death several times, and bounced back and forth from tropical storm to tropical depression. 89 advisories. Goodness.

hurricane/tropical storm "fern" in september 1971 went into louisiana, then back into the gulf came westward into the middle texas coast back off to the southwest towards corpus, thats was a crazy one too
