This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Looking for 08/26-27 Ernesto model tracks

#1 Postby aquifer » Fri Sep 01, 2006 12:49 am

Hi. Can anyone give me a pointer to where I can find plots of the model tracks for Ernesto from last Saturday and Sunday, especially the NOGAPS, GFDL, UKMET, CMC and European? (I found the GFS tracks archived on a page at NCEP). Or even the text output of those forecasts?

I thought I'd be able to just take them from the earlier threads on this site. But it turns out, as I should have known, that they were dynamically linked to the pages at the South Florida Water Management District and Wunderground, and those have all updated to the latest tracks.

Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

TheStormTrack

You can go through the recent archives, i think those pages were updated once daily, and they showed the models, hopefully that's good enough. The pictures show the computer models all on a map showing the various paths they thought the storm would take.

Colorado State's web site has all the models plotted, not just the BAMs and LBAR:

Look for the file names that start with "early_AAL05..."
