A Major Mistake.

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

I guess, Isabel, Floyd, Fran and Bertha were just little ole thunderstorms right. And as for the swift water crack, I guess you forgot what Floyd did to the Much of eastern NC and what Fran did to the Raliegh area.

Hurricane Isabel was a full 3 years ago. Like it or not, we've been relatively lucky....especially last year. Maybe he stated it a bit callously, but there is some truth to his words IMO.

There are still some people recovering from Ophelia, at least according to a thing I heard on the radio...

The southern Half of the North Carolina Coast is Under a Tropical Storm Warning. If Ernesto strengthens overnight tonight likely we'll see the TS warnings extended and Hurricane Watches/Warnings issued for the Anticipated area. I would have to say that Tropical Storm Warnings are not nothing IMO. Most people down here in south florida got ready for Ernesto and he was at the time only a tropical storm.
