Orange County schools closed. 12-month (Non-School Admin, Maint, Etc) people are to report in but to expect a "shortened day".

I teach in a private HS -- our current, unofficial status is that we will be having a shortened day Wednesday -- split at noon or earlier. Grrrrr...my classes are all AM on Wednesdays. Manatee County schools will be in session all day -- at least so far.

IMO Closing school in Central Florida was a waste, now that Ernesto is weaker than expected.

Pinellas is notorious for being the most conservative out of all Tampa Bay counties. They only cancel school unless ABSOLUTELY necessary and a TS won't do it most of the time.
