Similar looking sky in Key Largo. Some rain, but not heavy yet. Watching the radar and seeing the central swirl approaching.

Dark bands like the picture above, but no rain. No doubt a system is nearby from the look of it.

Back in Boca now. Light grey skies, mid 80s, light breeze 4-6mph. No precipitation. Actually, not a bad looking evening at all! My rain gauge at home says we had nothing here since morning - neighbor said it sprinkled for 5 minutes...almost more a mist than a rain.

I spent a normal day at work...probably tomorrow too...but I'm jealous of friends who were home all day today AND are off tomorrow...watching movies and going in the pool while I work and toil. My office closes if a Cat 2+ is less than 2 hours away...anything else, we're at work!

Homestead again - bit of a breeze now and have been seeing some lightning recently. Some minor flooding on some of the low-lying roads that normally flood in heavy downpours. No power loss at this point. :wink:

Just had a nice band come through winds sounded strongest they have been all night, now have 1.34" of rain...Im in South dade..

Looks like some pretty heavy bands are effecting us now...more offshore rotating in...been pouring here in East Broward for about 30 minutes...probably wind gusts to 30 or 35mph at times
