Florida hit...

I'm not trying to bash anyone, but FoxNews just reported that Florida has been hit by 7 hurricanes over the last year. Wow, I guess it was a busier season than I thought - guess I was asleep somewhere along the way.

Since 2004, there have been 8 hurricanes and 5 tropical storms in Florida.

Bonnie, Charley, Frances, Ivan, Jeanne, Arlene, Dennis, Katrina, Ophelia, Rita, Tammy, Wilma, Alberto...

The last year (Aug 28, 2005 to Aug 28, 2006) - yes, granted there were many before - but the reporter needed to get his numbers and dates straight to be accurate.
