Any chance of a northward shift?

No I'm not wishing anything :lol: Especially since I'm gonna get at least 45-50 mph winds from this probably anyway..

But is there any chance that Ernesto goes further up the East coast of Fla and say makes landfall in Vero, or Melbourne or somewhere in that area..?

A track/intensity like the NHC currently has it (using the line) would not give you much at all actually.

You are too far west in St. Pete.

Very little. If anything I'm wondering if it might go into the SW coast instead of Miami.

All models have continued a west shift since noon today. NHC Is the only eastward track now. Interesting. Im still on a key largo area landfall but I may be wrong.

Maybe the landfall might still be on the Gulf side of the state instead of the Atlantic..

Some please hand E a map so he can figure out where he is going... wow this is a frustrating system. I really feel for all the mets trying to track this one.

That is what our local met is saying. Their weather forcasting tool takes it up the gulf side and then across Ga and Sc w/Charleston just to the East.
