It looks now like August 2006 will not end like August 2005

After reading the afternoon NWS discussions from the Gulf coast cities the way it looks "now" August 2006 will not end anything like August 2005 for the GOM residents. What a difference a year makes. If we are lucky we will only have to sweat out September and early October. Then we can enjoy football season. :D

Pretty convenient to say that when we have 97L and many models are developing it in the GOM......

I agree with Scorpion as far as 97L is concerned. I know it's early, but it's probably our best chance yet........

I truly hope that no August EVER ends like last year for the northern GOM.

But here in Canada we wait for hockey...

Last year was yucky. Although, in the words of I think Avila from last year, they apply this year I think... "should have a little something something in the Gulf later this week..."
