Maybe 2006 is nature's way of reversion to the mean?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Maybe 2006 is nature's way of reversion to the mean?

2005 was a record setting season with 28 storms.

Maybe 2006 will be quiet and below average to account for the anamolous 2005?

It's approaching below average territory now. If we don't get storms the next week or two develop, it'll be below average.
