Its where Hurricane Katrina directly hit with her eastern eye wall when she was a strong Cat. 4 hurricane! At her meanest and most powerful wind wise and of course storm surge wise as well. So they had a double blow.
Katrina made landfall as a Cat. 3, not a strong Cat. 4.

They didn't fall because their round like round houses which can survive up to 600 mph winds!
I highly doubt they could withstand 600mph winds. The dome home in Pensacola can only withstand 200-250mph winds. 600mph winds would destroy everything in their path.

Wrong.

Hurricane Katrina made her first landfall as a Cat. 4 then her second landfall as a Cat. 3

Wrong.

no, your wrong.

The NHC downgraded Katrina to a Cat. 3 for BOTH landfalls.

Who gives a darn. Not me. So, to end the wind debate before it gets started, I am locking this thread too. I do not need a reminder of that day nor do I need to see the footage as alot of members will agree that survived that horrific time in our lives.
