Question about 17N 52W

#1 Postby StrongWind » Sun Aug 13, 2006 6:46 pm

There was a bit of convection flared up there earlier today. It looks like a stream of moisture from the North will be hitting that spot soon.

Any chance for something to develop there?

Also, is there a name for, or what is, that jet of moisture that's split southward from the front extending off the US east coast?

Thanks.
