Sorry guys . . . my resources aren't permitting

I'll be back later today (early evening) if it gets that desperate, but don't expect anything from me until then. There are plenty of other people on here who can do it instead of me.

Plotted the recon points.
>>These are NOT official graphics of any agency or service.<<
I would have used the blank markup map but wanted to show the sat image too. Sat is water vapor from GOES, the inset (reduced scale -- the entire convection is near the lower right) is GOES IR. Plotted the points as accurately as possible but without true LAT/LONG numeric accuracy.

Doesn't look worthy of recon today. They won't waste their time or money today.

Tend to agree since it is already in the islands. It is not a threat to anyone else before tomorrow, even if it did explode.

That's probably because they're not going to fly today. It's long past their scheduled potential departure. No reason for recon today as convection is now decreasing.

I thought so. I just wish they would let us know that they decided not too. But even if they did I concur they probably wouldn't find anything.

Well, FWIW, the crew needs 24 hours notice before they can take off.

I think they were on the runway when it was cancelled, as a couple of sets of pre flight obs came out
