My sentiments exactly.

Right now the lightning is very bright outside and the thunder is getting louder with each flash.

Where on earth did this come from so suddenly?

Gotta run... lightning getting too bright for my liking... need to shut down and unplug computer to protect it.
abajan, what are the conditions right now??Hope your computer got no problem...
There is an upper high just over the Antillies chain, with the sea's temperature + the surface low),think that expalain this firing of convection???

Okay, I'm back. Soon after I unplugged the PC, things calmed down!

At my location, winds are calm and have been so all morning. We haven't had much rain (at least not the amounts I was expecting) and skies are lightening up as the day progresses.

From what I can see on the latest satellite pix, most of this system has passed Barbados. It looks like it has potential for development, though.

Thanks for asking, HUC.
