Talkin Tropics Show

#1 Postby MWatkins » Thu Aug 10, 2006 3:31 pm

In what I am sure will be a rating-bonanza-blockbuster-chart-topper episode...we will spend an hour tonight discussing:

1. Why 91L didnt develop
2. The newest Nino guidance from BOM and CPC and what it means for this season
3. The MJO...is it the chicken or the egg?
4. The upcoming steering patten as we get into "prime time" of the hurricane season...which starts next week.
5. Your questions plus whatever else we get to

You can visit

http://www.ipr365.net to listen live or just click the listen live button up there in the fourm index.

See you there.

do you think the conditions are becoming more favorable soon for tropical activity to increase, like is the tropical atlantic becoming more favorable for a rapid increase???and what about the steering current patterns and upper level winds and how will that affect the hurricanes for this season???

Will I know they have a number you can call and ask questions. I have the number at home or if another person from IPR can chime in and let him know what that is.

Also they have a number you can call in to listen to the show.

Sounds like it will be a truly fascinating, and entertaining show. Should be interesting to see what everyone on the show thinks about these issues. I'll be there. 8-)
