It's looking like they maybe more interested in this system developing again. So they may go after all.

It was I thought earlier because the system had no LLC yet, from current obs in the area. Also TPC seemed to not think this system was going to develop anymore in the last TWO.

If they knew for 100% there was no LLC comming together again they probably would not fly.. but they can't be 100% over the water and with the deep convection..they could easily side on caution and just make sure with land in the path..

Funny how when most of us give up on this thing, we wake up to this. All along NHC said this "could" become a depression, once they remove that portion due to increasingly less favorable environment- boom. Interesting season so far. Not very exciting but a learning experience.

What indicates a LLC, wind speeds all over the place?

ok, one of the things they do in developing systems is look for the LLC. they system has looked better today thus the need for a mission.

It does seem like these systems this year are really challenging the NHC....

Well, most notably the transmission of a vortex data message. Those don't go out unless they go through a circ center.

I've been really busy the last few days, but from the few comments I saw here late last night, I figured recon would be cancelled. I'm guessing it looks better today....off to check it out!
