Aside from the unfavorable conditions, the difference why Chris was able to develop in this area, and 91L wasn't, is that Chris was moving at about 10 mph, and 91L is moving 25 mph. 91L, you have to take it easy!!!

Ahhh, finally good convection....to this point all other convection was of the transient variety. This convection will likely hold on for more than 3 hours! Barbados...Good Morning...just think of yourself as a large buoy today. Everyone is going to be looking at your obs....

I think much of this convection is being enchanced by the ULL to the north of the islands now. I don't know if we can get a new LLC to develop out of this.

But we did get a gust of 63mph in Ladson along with squalls of heavy rains.

Yeah, that's a bit wierd, just when they decide there is no low pressure. Definitely a wind surge ahead of this, see 56.2 14.6 buoy 41101 plot
