Most of all debby or debbie stroms don't do so will. There has only been a few that got up to a cat 2-3. But none has hit the US as one. So with that said I would say debby will not do much just like Chris did.
I am a debbie so I know I will do no harm.LOL

The name Debby has been used for four tropical cyclones in the Atlantic Ocean.
1982's Hurricane Debby - nearly reached Category 4 strength, grazed Bermuda and caused high winds at Cape Race, but no significant damage.
1988's Hurricane Debby - reached hurricane strength just before landfall at Tuxpan, Mexico, remaining a hurricane for only 6 hours and later becoming Tropical Depression 17-E in the Pacific. Ten were killed in Mexico.
1994's Tropical Storm Debby - formed near and passed over Saint Lucia, later dissipated over Hispaniola. Nine deaths were reported, and flooding and mudslides on Saint Lucia were severe.
2000's Hurricane Debby - disorganized storm that caused minor damage to the Leeward Islands and Puerto Rico, and helped relieve a severe Cuban drought.
