I'm not sure if this is the same wave that spawned a 1009mb low off the Coast of Africa but, I thought it was worth mentioning as it is a wave with cyclonic turning. Daniel you may want to change the title of the thread.

One other tropical wave is present in the eastern Atlantic along 35 west, south of 17 north, just west of the Cape Verde Islands. There is a broad area of turning evident in satellite imagery around this wave, but no thunderstorm activity is associated with this wave.
