Well I am back. I think I probably drove through some of it early this morning. Looked a like a good bit of rain on the Coast. I did talk to my husband. He said this morning was pretty rough out there. Not necessary the water but the storms~lightening. They are back in thank goodness. Right now it is sunny here.

I know that it is far off, but any chance that this could get to the el paso area, and make the flooding situation any worse?

Based on the 5pm TWO, I doubt this will develop. We're probably going to have to wait for Chris' remnants to re-emerge or an Atlantic wave before seeing Debby.

NWS has us for 50% chance of thunderstorms tonight and 80% tomorrow.

Meanwhile, we're still getting Flood Statements on Pine Island Bayou River Flood Warning, which is still above flood stage with low spots on some roads still underwater from 98L about 10 days ago!!

Not to mention with pop-up showers nearly every day, it's like a swamp at my house - had a red cell just sit over my house for quite a while on Thursday, dumping a ton of rain. It's like I live in a rain forest now or something.

It rained here Wednesday last week sooopo bad I was late for work an hour and a half!! We do have a 50% chance of rain for tonight which earlier was only at maybe a 20%... GO figure...

I could actually use some at my house. Enjoy the showers because by the middle of the week hot and dry weather will stick around for a while.

I enjoy the showers too...really love the rain...it's just that occasionally I like to come up for air.

And the numerous days of rain has put a huge damper on swimming this summer. Oh well...I guess I could take up swimming in the overflowing creeks and bayous.

Well its raining very hard here. Some cells in surrounding areas contain hail. Many parts of SELA are under severe thunderstorm warnings.

Don't know where it's going, but I got caught in some nasty thunderstorms this evening. There's another cell down in the Gulf pumping lightning up this way all night. I'm going back outside to drink.
