HURAKAN wrote::uarrow: I agree. John Morales always says that one of his personal goals in his life is to leave more graduated Meteorologists presenting the weather in TV. He is always encouraging young people with interest in the weather (I'm an example) to have in mind the possibility of going live. Before doing the internship, doing live TV was not one of my tops options, but now I have been given the opportunity to practice giving the weather in from of the TV I can see that I don't get scare and that I'm actually quite good at it, John was impressed the first time he saw me giving the weather during my practices. He said he was quite surprised how I handle myself in front of the TV, doing gestures, explaining, moving, and you know, not being frozen there. Furthermore, most TV stations only care about the weather segment when there is severe weather, especially hurricanes.
I hope in the future more Meteorologists get into TV.
Sandy.
If hope you can get on the air in South Florida and improve the quality. This market needs help real bad. Its very difficult to take Megan Glaros, Elita Loresca and Lonnie Quinn seriousely. Good Luck and please keep us South Floridians updated on your progress. Oh for the days of Bill Kamal, Roland Steadham and Norcross...Norcross is now only going to do Hurricane stuff. No Kamal jokes please, the guy was very good around hurricane time.
