Never use the SSD vis page for close in stuff unless you want the overlays. This updates every 5-10 minues in rapidscan mode and is 1km res.

There is renewed convection south of center. I hope it doesn't obscure the center and bring the dead storm meanies back out!

I finally figured it out. Now we know the REAL reason why Fidel Castro hasn't been seen in days.......he's flying around spraying a Russian-made version of Dynomat all over the Caribbean!!!!!! Occasionally he has to stop to refuel and Chris fights back!

That must be it!

Watching you is like watching a cheerleader who's team is getting their butt kicked 49-0 at halftime.

:team:
I don't really understand what this has to do with my question? But even so it should be noted that....

Chris is not dead yet. I have seen miracles happen before. Who knows, he may just come back and win the game! :D

During the diurnal max we get a blowup of convection in the NW quad and the LLC gets sucked up about 1-2 degrees to the NW?

Just an idea...not saying it is going to happen...just wondering out loud.

Your just itching for some extra camping supplies...;)

It's to the point with this system, would anyone be surprised if it did such a thing....

I know one thing that would happen, AFM ... the NHC-bashers would come out in full force saying "the NHC are idiots. How could they miss this?"

(sigh)

What an amazing storm though ... it's really vexxed a lot of folks this week.
