As a fairly long-time lurker who finally signed up, I'd like to echo these sentiments. I've learned a lot from the experts ... and even the rest of you hooligans.

Ooooh, someone from Madtown!! :P Gotta give love to a fellow Cheesehead (you can take the girl outta Cheeseheadland, but you cant take the Cheesehead outta the girl)!!

And I second (or 22nd, or whatever) what everyone has said here. This board wouldn't be half what it is without our pro-mets... they deserve all the props in the world for taking time to fill us in, even when we all know they are crazy busy. I've spent tropical seasons here w/ S2K for some 3 years, and I still learn new things from every storm - things I would never understand if there weren't so many smart mets who have the patience to explain these things in laymen's terms.

We love you guys!!!

I also want to add my props in here. The pro mets on our board are very knowledgeable, patient with amateurs like me, and always willing to share information and their thoughts.

Yes indeed, we are fortunate and blessed! Thank you folks!! :D

Every time I read one of their very informative, well thought out posts I want to thank them...these guys are all very professional and courteous in their responses...aside from their vast amount of knowledge, what I really like about them is their obvious passion for tropical wx, for me personally, it's just a hobby, but for them it is a "way of life" and I thank each and every one of them for taking the time to educate and inform us on a regular basis...my heartfelt thanks to all of you

I appreciate your patience pro mets. You answer a lot of questions that are obvious to you and many times you answer many of the same questions. Here is to a job well done. [/img] ( Maybe we should make this a sticky!)
