Look what's headed for the African coast.....

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Here's a pretty satellite view of the area. Looks like a broad LLC off the coast of Africa now, and a big blob still inland:

Still 10 days out from any potential US impact. Still time to watch.

What Alabama could really use is some rain! I'll take a baby depression with 2-3 inches of rain. Wind I could do without.

"Look what's headed for the African coast....."

That’s odd... is that weather pattern in reverse and it’s heading back into the African Coast? Wouldn’t that act like a barricade and prevent normal tropical convection from moving from the coast into the Atlantic.... oh no.... here come the “season’s over” threads…

Seriously, think the topic name needs editing…

No, Dixie is correct. The storms are moving right to left coming from the african interior moving towards the coast.

Wait a minute…. now I’m confused, if the storms are moving “right to left” from the African interior to the coast, then why is the thread header saying… ahhhhh…. darn, I just answered my own question…. [Squinting] nevermind.....
