Models from a day or 2 ago..

Maybe the models that had Chris dissipating were dead on. It's a shame because I thought along with probably a lot of people here that Chris would have become a hurricane yesterday.

On the bright side, as a TS.. He'll be a rain maker instead of a wind machine..

On the dark side IF he is able to regenerate the chances of being a CONUS threat is much greater because of a More northerly track.

Well, they were right in a way, but for the wrong reasons. :-)

Hopefully, there's not enough of him left to cause any trouble in the Gulf.

True... Btw.. If he's moving WNW now instead of due west.. does that mean maybe the forecast will shift back towards the Keys or South Fla..?

I've noticed that over years when models don't really show much even after data has been put into soundings from it they usually die.

I never thought Chris would get as strong as he did. I am not surprised at this latest trend. I gave Chris a couple of days when he first formed. The fat lady is warming up her voice.....MGC
