Cayman convection

#1 Postby Stormavoider » Wed Aug 02, 2006 6:34 pm

What do you experts think of this burst of convection south of Cuba? It looks widespread and intense. earlier there seemed to be some rotation in this area. Do you think there could be some development here?

I hope not, the mean flow is still towards the TX coast. But I think it's associated with the ULL so development is not liklely.

It's part of the old wave we have been tracking for days...

Also it will show you how strong the high is as it shoots the convection towards Texas by this weekend.

Convection is really blowing up again this morning. It's a little west of where it was yesterday.

I never thought chris had chance to develope into anything on Monday, but Chris is trying his best tp pull it back together from the SE, can he do it???? I won't put any money on it one way or the other. After living in florida for the past 20 years I have learned that no matter how it looks right now in a few hours all bets can be off.
