Look at what is about to roll off of Africa:

I believe this is the wave that some of the models had progged for development for a few days now.

August looks to be right on target.

ya, steve lyons just talked about it, he pointed out that it is about to move into the low pressure area out in front of it and models have it becoming a vigorous tropical cyclone

Noticed also the Canadian, and the GFS develops it also. The ooZ canadian deepens it rapidly.
