Mark Sudduth says best quote of the day

#1 Postby marcane_1973 » Tue Aug 01, 2006 4:26 pm

This is important- if Chris stays off of the land areas, it can intensify. If it passes over the large islands of the Caribbean, it will likely struggle and could dissipate. The next few days will be critical in terms of what effects, if any, Chris might have on U.S. weather. :notworthy:

Why is this the quote of the day? It's just common sense.

And this is breaking news in the world of tropical cyclones? The eastern Caribbean has been a hurricane graveyard since hurricanes existed. Anyone remember Debbie a few years ago? Mark must have been chuckling when he heard that cause even "The Great One" could get have said that....no brainer.

My quote of the day:

"Tropical Storms are more likely to intensify in August/September than in June."

Also; "It is cooler at night than during the daytime".

Stay tuned for more brilliant quotes each and every day!!!!
