Question 4 you guys..

#1 Postby Josephine96 » Tue Aug 01, 2006 8:27 am

I know you guys may end up moving this.. but I have a question..

I'm supposed to be going over to Tampa on Sunday and Monday..

If Chris is still on a collision course with Fla by about Saturday, should I try to cancel my plans?

I don't wanna skip the concert I'm going to {assuming it's not canceled} But I don't wanna get stuck in Tampa if a hurricane is possibly cutting across the state or riding up the gulf coast or whatever.

Opinions welcomed. I certainly don't wanna cancel my plans, and may not have too if Chris is gonna just go through the Straits or South Fla, but I'm just wondering..

I wouldn't change my plans yet if I were you. We'll have much more information once recon has been through there a few times over the next day or two.

I'd say the odds of Tampa being significantly impacted are fairly low, though.

Yes since it is on the west side of Florida, chances are low. Its the east coast of Florida down through the Florida straits that would have the higher chances.
