What is this?

TWD 2:30 p.m. analyze a tropical wave in the 20 - 21w, but as I can see in the sat, there is 'something' in the 30 w but the TWD don't say a word about it. Anyone?

I don't know if archived TWDs are available somewhere, but this morning Cangialosi explained that this feature was being dropped from the analysis because it's not really a wave.

ITCZ...
ITCZ AXIS IS CENTERED ALONG 11N14W 9N40W 10N63W THROUGH NORTHERN
VENEZUELA AND COLOMBIA TO NEAR 9N82W NEAR PANAMA. SCATTERED
MODERATE CONVECTION LIES FROM 7N TO 13N BETWEEN 18W AND 25W
THROUGH THE TROPICAL WAVE ALONG 21W.
SCATTERED MODERATE
CONVECTION ALSO LIES WEST OF THIS WAVE FROM 5N TO 11N BETWEEN
26W AND 33W.

They consider that area as part of the ITCZ and not a wave.

The one from this morning (8:05 AM EDT) is:

BASED UPON SATELLITE IMAGERY AND THE AVAILABLE DATA...THE TROPICAL WAVE IN THE EASTERN ATLANTIC PREVIOUSLY ALONG 31W AT 18 UTC YESTERDAY HAS BEEN DROPPED FROM THE SURFACE ANALYSIS. THIS FEATURE DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN A TROPICAL WAVE BUT RATHER SOME INSTABILITY LEFT BEHIND FROM THE BROAD HIGH AMPLITUDE WAVE 600-700 NM TO ITS WEST.
