tropical wave numbers?
I know NHC numbers tropical waves each season. Does anyone know where I can find those? It would be nice to have a unique number for each particular wave, since positions continually change.

What I know is that on average there are 100 waves per year that move thru the Atlantic. And of those only a handfull of them go ahead and develop. But I know that someone will bring more stats about the waves.
