Very nice area of convection that will be coming off the Africa coast in the next day or so and new convection blobs starting to line up behind it....

I still think it is trying to get going. Look at Central and East Africa tonight
The SAL can't last forever when you have waves of convection developing that are this strong

Cape Verde season doesn't usually start until Aug 15th - so there is time for conditions to change
I agree! I think we will have a storm out of there, just not like the normal we see from the long treckers.

The marching bands are at full swing inside Africa right now as expected with August around the corner.
Dont look at the convection that is below 10n if you look at the new wave as that is ITCZ related convection.The attention should be between 10n-15n where it seems to be a weak spin.
