Are they in dial-up!!! Maybe they have a software problem. But even in that case, I would argue that they could call the HPC and tell them to do it.

Unless there is a special advisory, normally advisories are every 6 hours.

If there is a tropical storm or hurricane watch or warning, advisories become every 3 hours. (They had dropped it for MA and never issued it in Canada as it was expected to become extratropical).

If the eye of a hurricane is on radar, advisories become every 2 hours with intermediate position estimates hourly.

If there is a dramatic, unexpected strengthening or course change, a special advisory can be issued at any time. That is a full advisory.

If you go to here and scroll to the bottom, you can see that the last TWD was the 2006-07-21-05Z one, the 2:05am, and no more ATL files have been added since then.

So either a) they didn't write it, or b) they lost all connectivity with their website.

How is it that we began writing about TWD and then.... :eeh... ! a metamorphosis !.. the discussion was about advisories. Just kidding :D
I looked and searched in different sites but all have the 2am TWD. My guessing is that the 2am TWD will strike back as the 2pm TWD!...

Well as others said above we will have to wait for the 2:05 PM one.I still think this glitch has to do with some computer problems at the office.Although they got out the advisories and the 11:30 AM Tropical Weather Outlook.
