Ok...predictions....landfall on the RI/Mass border as a 65mph TS. No maps...really no need to do that when I can just call it.

I say she becomes a 70 mph TS overnight while moving NNE and then eventually making landfall at Cape Cod as a 50 mph TS during the afternoon and then making the extratropical transition tomorrow night.

heres what I predict...it will strengthen to 70-75mph with pressure in the upper 990's overnight tonight...the storm maintains strength till 8am tomorrow morning and weakens to a 60mph TS making landfall on the east side of long island amd weakening to 55 as it goes thru cape cod

What , it's better then just "predicting" why the NHC has already said should happen which is what 90% of these responses will be.

I know that and I think that it is good that you are taking a different approach to the situation than others...but that said, is there any information out there that would show this situation happening?

Even IF that scenario happened, all your grandma would have to do is request transportation to a shelter...that is if she lived on the shore areas. It is not like the entire island would be underwater.

I predict that Tropical Storm Beryl will not become a hurricane and just go out to sea. It may make landfall in Canada as a Ex-tropical system.
