lets make some predications beryl next 24 hours
A/ movement / coordinates
B intensity
a turn back toward the north tonite even north north west thru morning 38.8 73.1 noon tomorrow
winds bumped up to 75 mph cane at 2 am then down to 65 tomorrow afternon
(tryin 2 get some convo going)

Ok...predictions....landfall on the RI/Mass border as a 65mph TS. No maps...really no need to do that when I can just call it.

I say she becomes a 70 mph TS overnight while moving NNE and then eventually making landfall at Cape Cod as a 50 mph TS during the afternoon and then making the extratropical transition tomorrow night.

What , it's better then just "predicting" why the NHC has already said should happen which is what 90% of these responses will be.
I know that and I think that it is good that you are taking a different approach to the situation than others...but that said, is there any information out there that would show this situation happening?

Even IF that scenario happened, all your grandma would have to do is request transportation to a shelter...that is if she lived on the shore areas. It is not like the entire island would be underwater.

very true...but I can tell you that it sure wouldnt be much fun to be in the middle of a cat 2 hurricane although Im sure shell know what to do
