lol your joking right? they have found 56kt winds which is 44.8kts using .8 or 50.4kts using .9

Sorry about that I was just looking at the current data and I didn't see any wind speeds above 30 kts.

That is 850mb flight level. That would be reduction of .8. about 45kts at the surface. However latest drosponde reading reported 49kts at the surface apparently in the W Quad.

lol...according to the VDM its a 50kt storm...is that 55 mph or 60?

60 mph...but that's just an estimate based on the state of the ocean, not a measurement of any kind.

that 49KT is from a dropsonde, which is a surface measurement

If the advisory was issued now, it would likely be a 50kt (60 mph) storm.
