1# What do we rank world wide right now. I know we are number one right now.

2# How hot are they expecting by 2015?

In how much more of the world will become desert?

Globally, January-June 2006 is the sixth warmest first half of the year on record.


2# How hot are they expecting by 2015?


2015 is pretty soon. I doubt there will have been a dramatic change by then. Odds are we will have had a few more record warmest years between now and then, though, especially if we see a strong el Nino.


In how much more of the world will become desert?


Refining the models to the point where they can reliably predict regional effects like this is a hot area of resaech. But as of now, I don't think we can answer this question with any confidence.
