Folks the crisis in the Middle East is sending record crude oil prices in record numbers.Today it has been at one time at $78 a barrel. What this means for us who are very far from that conflict will be very higher prices at the pump.Today I found a Shell Station in Isla Verde,Puerto Rico with 75.7 a liter,an increase of 3 cents from yesterday.

Prices actually dropped here yesterday from $2.79 down to $2.75 for regular unleaded. I did notice that this afternoon when I took my sister to the pool one station has raised its price to $2.84. Every other station remains at $2.75.

Has anyone seen a rapid markup in the price of gas say since Wednesday? Our prices have been steady for the most part. That surprises me. I keep waiting for the price jump and it hasn't happened yet.

Several stations here are at $1.99/gallon for regular unleaded. Nice to see it get lower, hope it continues.

Edit: I filled up after work at Murphy Oil for $1.96/gallon. :D

I don't know about the other walmarts but murphy oil has stations on walmart property here. Many times i'll say i'm filling up at walmart instead of murphy oil. And if you fill up at murphy oil and use a walmart gift card you get 3 cents off a gallon.
