What happend to the Wind Speed Graph at NHC?
I really liked the graphical version of the windspeed table, what happened to it? Does anybody have an estimated windspeed vs. time out there. The best part of that graph was the error estimation boundaries. That really helped to put the forecasts into perspective.

They got rid of it after last season. It's a shame, too, as it was almost always the first thing I looked at after reading the discussion, as the 10% and 20% (sometimes 30%) lines could always give you an idea of how confident they were about their forecasts. Now we have those inaccurate 34, 50, and 64kt windspeed probability maps that can't guarantee much of anything.

This same question came up during Alberto -- I was also disappointed to find out it was discontinued, but shortly afterward, someone pulled up that type of graph from Alberto from somewhere on the NHC site. Kinda odd.
