Story in today's Tallahassee Democrat, NOAA gives Florida State $6.2 million grant

Ooh, just reread the story... time for everyone to play "find an error", I see one in the story.

I don't know ... guess I'm a little dense today. Aside from the rather peculiar phrasing about "a cubic square" I don't see anything that appears to be an error. And I'd call that more of a matter of awkward phrasing.

If recent history has taught us anything it is that FSU does not seem to have a good handle on the 'Canes...

I e-mailed the author of the story and as promised in her reply, a correction was printed/posted.

William Gray, who predicts the severity of hurricane seasons, is a professor at Colorado State University. He was mentioned in Tuesday's story on FSU's new model for predicting the power of hurricane seasons.
