Childhood Rituals

Many, many years ago when I was young, every Easter I got a new dress, new white gloves, hat and shoes. Of course, knowing my mom, I probably wore that outfit every Sunday for the rest of the year. :eek: I can't remember.

Did your mother have any similiar rituals?

Yep, I always got a new Easter dress and shoes, and a hat or whatever else I may need to go with it. I don't think I wore it every Sunday for the rest of the year though. lol

My daughter still gets a new Easter dress, hat, shoes and gloves. She likes dressing like that <g>
