At the above site the briefing from the tropical prediction page indicates that we have invest 94L though NRL is yet to post a confirmation.

Does appear to be weak at this point, but compared to yesterday the rotation is more evident.

It looks now from all indication the modles are starting to show development with this system.I am not entirley shore whether it is alluding to invest 93 or 94 but CMC, one of the more reliable modles are showing a vigorous closed low just east of the Winward islands.

The only keeping these waves alive is their latitude. Strong westerlies reside just to the west and north, and though they are forecasted to slacken, by no means will it be favorable enough for significant development. Pretty much, it's either go into S. America or face the onslaught of shear.

not sure which CMC you're viewing, but I am seeing nothing reembling a closed surface circulation moving through the islands

The CMC has shown this wave passing through the islands and the northern end closing off with a low moving NNW well southwest of Bermuda.

According to the products I am receiving, it could be Invest 94L, but it only shows up on one line.

Edit: There is now a 2nd line

26/2345 UTC 10.5N 46.1W TOO WEAK 94L -- Atlantic Ocean

So I think it is official that Invest 94L exists.

It's also showing up at NOAA's SSD - http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/positions.html#ATL

Navy has not officially declared it yet though.

Go back on this forum and look at the date last year today. Were there this many invests at that point? I'm going to find out now...

EDIT: I found out there was only 1 invest during this time.
