Drought...

Looks like I've made it into Severe drought. I'm not surprised...hardly any rain at all for a few months now.

Btw, I'm in extreme Southeast Texas...very close to the border. This was updated on the 3rd (last Tuesday) so I wonder if portions of Texas and Louisiana will improve on the next update after all the rain last week. I can't imagine there'd be a change for me though. :roll:

I know the 6"+ of rainfall we received last week was enough to make a big dent in the drought. It's unfortunate that SE Texas did not get much rain last week. Our chances of rain will return to above the climo (30% each day) so I think conditions should continue to improve.
