well that track the GFS is showing is dreadful for South Florida - I hope it is just way off on this one - :eek:

It's not even a low yet - so there won't be one. I surmise since we are in June chances are slim we'll ever see a "track" with this fantasy low the GFS is showing

question can someone post a link where i can pull up a gfs or any model this far our. and tell me where to click on it to make it happen if it is not self explanitory? The only models i can get are these http://met.psu.edu/tropical/tcgengifs/

Right, it's not even a low yet...it doesn't even exist. I just looked at the GFS run and plotted the postions on a map to show that track.

Too early to believe that a Cape Verde storm will develop. Of course there are exceptions. The GFS is known for looking at the calendar and thinking that since it is summer "I must create tropical cyclones".
