Will Alberto finally unleash the afternoon thunderstorms? I don't ever remember TS not firing in June.

In Central Florida, there used to be normal afternoon whippings (TS), but this whole month, I have yet to experience these afternoon TS. I am not talking about what Alberto is causing, but your normal kickarse TS that occur around 5 ish.

There you can see the circulation over South Carolina and the rain to the north. As you guys say, it looks better now than when it made landfall!!!

It does look a little better. Even on the NHC Forecast they have it regaing TS (subtropical) before it reaches the atlantic in extreme eastern NC. Back to 40MPH I saw. Interesting forecast. Even they have it a S on the map 4 days form now well well into north-east atlantic.

I'm still waiting for my afternoon thunderstorms. Does anyone know when the rainy season will kick off?
