Possible tornado in Apopka started around 3 this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!





APOPKA, FL Weather Warning

Tornado Warning Update /O.CON.KMLB.TO.W.0002.000000T0000Z-060613T0730Z/ ORANGE FL- 315 AM EDT TUE JUN 13 2006 ...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 AM EDT FOR NORTHWESTERN ORANGE COUNTY... AT 314 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO INDICATE A TORNADO. THIS TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR WINTER GARDEN...MOVING NORTH AT 40 MPH. OTHER CELLS IN WESTERN ORANGE COUNTY ALSO INDICATED ROTATION AND COULD BECOME TORNADIC. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY! OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO CLARCONA...LOCKHART...CROWN POINT...PLYMOUTH...FOREST CITY... APOPKA...ZELLWOOD AND TANGERINE. THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE DURING A TORNADO IS IN AN INTERIOR ROOM. GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR OTHER PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE. SEEK SHELTER ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF THE BUILDING IN AN INTERIOR HALLWAY OR ROOM SUCH AS A CLOSET. USE BLANKETS OR PILLOWS TO COVER YOUR BODY AND ALWAYS STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. IF IN MOBILE HOMES OR VEHICLES...EVACUATE THEM AND GET INSIDE A SUBSTANTIAL SHELTER. IF NO SHELTER IS AVAILABLE...LIE FLAT IN THE NEAREST DITCH OR OTHER LOW SPOT AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS. A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 AM EDT TUESDAY MORNING FOR PARTS OF EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA...INCLUDING ORANGE COUNTY. LAT...LON 2853 8175 2840 8160 2864 8137 2880 8165

That is a tornado warning, did you hear of anything on the news as to if one may have actually touched down anywhere.

I live in Apopka, I certainly didnt hear or see any kind of conditions that was like a tornado

There were no reported or confirmed touchdowns in Seminole County On 6/12 or 6/13.

A feeder band squall line training just north of Gainesville now, 8 p.m. Tuesday night.
