Lost power. LAst night and just got it back. Guessing I'd say 30-40 mph sustained at times with gusts in the 50's along the Pinellas Beaches.

Just woke up....wind still blowing and light rain. My weather bug says steady winds at 19mph and a Gust: 129 ENE. LOL now that has to be wrong.

Weird storm. Rain almost all day yesterday and no wind. This morning all wind and no rain so far. (that wasn't the case last night however, *yawns*, I was up off and on turning off the alert and trying to see outside )

Well...this "nothin'" storm took out a 10' section of my fence last night. A 35' tree came down, smashed my fence and blocked a lane of our roadway. It probably wasn't wind - just too much water on a previously weakened tree.

Here in Hernando Beach we have a storm total rainfall of 3.2 inches as of 7 AM this morning. Winds currently out of the S-SW at 33 mph. Tides running about 3 feet above normal. Periodic rain squalls moving in off the GOM the last hour.

I don't believe the winds ever dropped below 25 mph yesterday late and all during the night here on Anna Maria. The beach erosion looks much worse than it did during the previous two hurricane seasons. Go figure.
