Light rain but I expect the last band in a couple of hours.

I'm sitting here on Anna Maria Island with pretty steady 30 mph winds and some gusts around 40 and looking at some trees with branches that look like they might go at anytime and take out my power. The rain has been coming down in torrents for an hour, after a good soaking the past two days. The surf is LOUD.

You can probably find some Tampa TV stations streaming the 11 p.m. news right now.

Here's Tampa Bay's 10

http://www.tampabays10.com/

Also go here:

http://www.srh.noaa.gov/ifps/MapClick.p ... L&site=TBW

Currently shows winds from the S at 15 with gusts to 22.

Looks like lots of 35-45mph gusts going on along the west coast right now. I would expect this to get worse overnight and many cities will probably be looking at 45-60mph gusts (and higher in a few spots) by morning.

Sarasota report:

Nokomis report shows the same winds, but we're not getting winds that strong here by a long shot.
