No rain right now
It rained form the morning till about 3:30pm than havent seen anything since everythings dried out already. And we havent seen 1 gust yet over 5mph since yesterday's rain band about mid day. I'm waiting to see a little wind. I want the day off work tommorrow but now I highly doubt that's going to happen. Just worried about the airport conditions as my wife is flying out of KTPA Tommorrow morning.

Light Winds are still whipping around here in St. Pete, but the rain has stopped for now.
I live by the Bay and all day people have been outdoors, playing in the wind and rain.
I've seen a light chop all day today.
What do guys expect for the area come high tide Tuesday? (Pinellas County beaches and Tampa Bay)
Is the storm surge expected to still be a bit high, or no?

Here in Madeira Beach, we are now experiencing the highest sustained winds of this entire event. S to SSW at about 20-25, gusts to maybe 30.
Gulf is very rough, but no significant increase in tide - at least not at this time. Same goes for the Bay/ICW side of the island.
Breakers offshore - as far out as the horizon - are quite evident.
