That wave coming off of Africa looks pretty sizeable; but perhaps a lot of them do around this time of year. In either case, all you islanders stay safe!

Don't you get hit every single time a hurricane forms in the area and makes it's way through you? Wouldn't everything be damaged by now and before you can fix all of it it get's knocked down again? I have little knowledge about those islands.

Even though it likely will be no more than an Invest at that point, it is still rain and winds by the tropical wave or low...

no , we don't get hit by everything., but Cape verde systems do have to move through the islands.
it depends at what latitude they move through and what strength they are.
One or more of the islands will definitely get some weather from the systems.
This early in the season, as the waves move through, they have not usually strengthened into tropical storms yet.
Later in the hurricane season, in August and September, is when the Cape verde systems can strengthen significantly in the Central Atlantic and move through the islands as hurricanes.
Here is a good map to help orient you :
