I know but the last couple of frames show more of a NW to WNW movement of the LLC....interesting....

I noticed that too. There also seems to be some convection firing around it (at least that is what it looks like on visible).

Yes if you look at it pay very close attention to the last couple of frames - we see a NW to WNW "wobble" Each wobble will be significant to where this ends up..

Bear in mind some models like to stall it and send it WNW into the GOM still....

I do see some convection now firing on the SE side of the LLC - close to the center but it is just some convection - not that much yet.

Actually, I agree with boca_chris that the storm seems to be getting a little better organized. The thunderstroms are being pulled into the broad LLC and RECON indicated some 45 kt winds earlier. Still pretty disorganized, but the cloud mass is starting to take on that classic "S" shape associated with a TS.

You are aware that the GHCC is in rapid scan mode...right? Images every 5-10 (15 max) minutes and better quality...compaired to the SSD page.

Just checking...

No, I don't think so. NHC is going to update at 10 PM, I believe.

I'm confused. Okay, I see all the cloud tops north of Cuba and approaching SW FLA.. this is just convection sheared to the east, right? And the actual center is still in the NW Caribbean.
